The Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be submitted by March 2nd at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Big Shout Out to SPHS Fall Sports Teams
The Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams were victorious in enough heats to earn 2011-12 Cross Country Marine League Champions. The Girls' Cross country Team won its Eigth (8th) Cross Country City Title. SPHS took four of the 11 top honors. Evelyn Gonzalez of SPHS took first place among all of the female contenders.

SPHS Football Team has earned the Number 1 spot in the L. A. City section with a 11 - 0 - 0 record. SPHS Football ranking is as follows National 268; State 29; City Section 1; Section Division 1. The second round of the play-off games is Crenshaw vs. SPHS at Pedro. Game time is at 7:00 p.m. Go Pirates!!!
The Victory Arch was established in 1937.
The reason it is faced at the north end of the football field is because the football team wants their season to end at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Home to the CIF L. A. City Section Championship.
Student Discipline as per Safe and Civil Schools Program is categorized as Level 1 Infractions and consequences (Mild):
Level 2 (Moderate); & Level (3) Severe. Listed in the attachments are various types of each level of infractions and their consequences. Included also in the attachments are personnel and procedures for handling each type of issue.
