What is DOCS ROCKS?

Docs Rocks is a joint effort combining the Los Angeles Unified School District, the International Documentary Association, and the Department of Cultural Affairs for the City of Los Angeles. The object of this unique curriculum is to provide students with an opportunity to study and create documentary films. The curriculum has been granted admission status for the University of California admission standards. Docs Rocks features a component with visiting filmmakers and a speakers’ bureau where professionals share their experience and expertise with secondary students.
